Job Summary: As a laborer, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks on construction sites, road crews, or other projects as assigned. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment
• Perform general construction tasks such as digging trenches, leveling ground, and cleaning up debris
• Operate hand and power tools as needed, following safety guidelines
• Assist skilled tradespeople (e.g., carpenters, electricians) with their tasks as directed
• Erect and dismantle temporary structures such as scaffolding or barricades
• Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in construction or related field is advantageous, but not required
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
• Familiarity with hand and power tools commonly used in construction
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds or more)
• Stamina to perform tasks requiring physical exertion for extended periods
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments, including outdoor settings and confined spaces
• Comfortable working at heights and on uneven terrain

Job Summary: As a journeyman in construction, you will be responsible for performing skilled work in the designated trade or profession. Working under limited supervision, you will utilize your expertise to complete tasks efficiently and effectively while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Execute assigned tasks according to blueprints, specifications, and instructions
• Utilize hand and power tools to perform various tasks in the trade/profession
• Install, repair, and maintain equipment, machinery, or systems as required
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues to determine appropriate solutions
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe working environment
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and hours worked
• Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices as needed

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience and proficiency in performing tasks associated with the trade/profession
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues effectively
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on industry advancements and best practices
